Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park


Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park has 32 Lodge rooms and 2 cottages. Lodge also includes a restaurant, gift shop and 3 meeting rooms. Our campground has 51 sites with water and electric. Also 6+ tent sites available. Campground has bathhouse w/showers, dump station, playground and shelter. Pets are allowed at campground and on our 5 hiking trails if restrained. For a small fee our guest can enjoy the pool, mini-golf or visit our Pioneer Museum. The recreation department offers lots of great things for our guest to participate in. ( such as canoe trips, crafts and games.) Paul Tierney is our Naturalist/Parks Program Supervisor. He leads tours of the battlefield and is in charge of the battle reenactment that takes place every August. This August is the 225th anniversay of the battle. He also gives talks about the flora and fauna at the park, including the endangered Short's Golden Rod. Currently he is involved with the renovation of our Pioneer Museum.(due to reopen during the reenactment weekend-Aug. 17-18-19,2007) Paul and his staff are available for a varity of programs. Directions
From Lexington-I75 use exit 113 (27/68) towards Paris,ky continue on U.S 68 for about 48 miles to front entrance of park. From Maysville/ AA HYW- turn right onto U.S 68. Drive for about 23 miles, entrance to park is just after BP station.

we have two lodge room's and one cottage that are ADA accessible, and have ADA bathrooms. Meeting rooms and restaurant are also handicapped accessible.
